The Center for Sustainable Tourism presents the eighth webinar in our Renewable Energy in Tourism series. This free webinar will focus on ways to plan and implement sustainable practices at events and festivals. These practices include the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency, reducing waste streams, green marketing, plus much more. The webinar will feature two sustainable/green events experts: •Jimmy Hunt, Founder and President, Yellow Dog Entertainment. Mr. Hunt will be discussing ways to turn your events and festivals into sustainable gatherings with positive environmental and social impacts. He will provide examples from his own work, creating the Music on the Mountain Top, sustainable music festival in Boone, NC. • John Crawford, CEO and Co-Founder, Auburn AV. Mr. Crawford will be discussing the use of energy efficient technologies at meetings and events. He will help your tourism or hospitality establishment turn your meeting and event space into a sustainable, energy efficient, and cost saving destination for corporations and businesses.
